Follow the paths of HERZBERGE and discover the stories of a place that confronts you with the oldest questions of humankind!

You can experience the HERZBERGE video and audio walk at any time in Lichtenberg. The best way to do this is as follows:

Step 1

Before starting the walk, it's best to download the app beforehand to save data volume. The app requires about 500MB of free space on your smartphone. Please use Chrome browser for installing the app.

Step 2

Fully charge your smartphone, pack your headphones and go to Museum Kesselhaus in Lichtenberg. Please find directions below.

Step 3

Even if you have already downloaded the app, you can only start it once you have scanned the QR code in front of the Museum Kesselhaus entrance. Alternatively, you can borrow a device with a pre-installed app and headphones directly from the museum.

Please note: The app currently only works on Android devices, but we are working on making it available also on iPhones. Until then, please contact the museum (kontakt@museumkesselhaus.de) or come by on a Tuesday or Thursday between 2 - 4 pm to use a tablet and headphones on site, if you can’t start the app with an iOs device.

Please note:

  • HERZBERGE is designed for individuals or small groups and works best if you set aside a total of two hours for your individual experience.
  • We recommend that you do not talk during the walk and activate airplane mode on your phone. Once you have downloaded the app, the entire walk will work even without a connection to the outside world. And you save battery!
  • You can pause the video and sound chapters at any time if you are interrupted during the experience or if something unexpected happens. Take the time you need to move through HERZBERGE at your own pace.
  • Be considerate of hospital staff and patients, as well as park visitors, when moving around the grounds.

Please be aware of the traffic on the hospital grounds. Your safety and that of everyone around you comes first at all times! We accept no liability should you or any other person or property come to harm.
